Health Care Aide Bridging

Elevate your healthcare career with the Health Care Aide Bridging Certificate at Louis Riel College.

This 24-week program is tailored for uncertified health care aides in Manitoba’s public healthcare system who have at least 300 hours of work experience within the past two years.

Along with comprehensive coursework, you’ll gain essential certifications in First Aid/CPR Level “C”, food handling, and nonviolent crisis intervention (NVCI), as well as training in the Personal Health Information Act.

The program also includes an 80-hour practicum placement, ensuring you’re fully equipped to advance your career with confidence.

Qualified applicants may receive full funding for the program fees from Manitoba Shared Health .
