Certificate Programs
Health Care Aide Challenge

The Health Care Aide Challenge program is designed for uncertified workers with 1,200 hours of service in the past 12 months or new Canadians with unrecognized credentials from their home country.
In just 14 weeks, gain the certification you need by attending evening classes every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with additional lab skills sessions on select Saturdays.
Health Care Aide Bridging

This 24-week program is tailored for uncertified health care aides in Manitoba’s public healthcare system who have at least 300 hours of work experience within the past two years.
Along with comprehensive coursework, you’ll gain essential certifications in First Aid/CPR Level “C”, food handling, and nonviolent crisis intervention (NVCI), as well as training in the Personal Health Information Act.
